| Eaglewoods Golf range - A short history | |
Jaret says: "We are looking forward to another busy season excited to offer more lessons and camps,
as well as deals and specials too good to pass up."
When you visit their Web site Eaglewoods Golf Center, you will find complete information on hours, memberships, lessons, Junior Camps, pre-paid cards for golf ball baskets, and directions. Eaglewoods, the creative product of Jaret Connolly and his spouse Cathy Champoux, is modestly starting as a golf driving range, with Jaret offering on-site custom club building and repairs. Their plans include a mini-putt for next season as well as chipping greens “in the not too distant future”. The facility is already ‘up to par’ with a first rate nearly completed pro-shop and washroom which is fully accessible
to persons with disabilities and tees of the latest design. There are 30 (driving) mats as well as a “natural”
tee area for those duffers who like to hit the ball from the ground.Concerned with the land, Eaglewoods has been designed to be environmentally friendly so as not to upset the local habitat and surplus trees from the property were used in both the construction and landscaping. The new center is within easy reach of Rockland, Clarence Creek, Sarsfield and Cumberland Village and will be very convenient to golfers on the way to or from local courses. We are told that driving a bucket of balls will soothe even the most frustrated motorist on his way
home from work, and for those family members who are not up to picking a basket of berries, be they straw or blue,
swinging a club with the “Eagle” will help to pass the time while waiting for your partner at the ‘pick your own’.You can contact the Eaglewoods Golf Center at (613) 833-1234 (get it... one, two three, fore!). You can use your own clubs, or rent one on site. You can also E-mail Jaret at: jaret.connolly[at]eaglewoods.ca. |
